On February 20, 2020, coinciding with the Steam Port's release, due to ad fraud, Cheetah Mobile was banned from Google Play, so all of its games including the official Rolling Sky app, were removed from the Google Play Store. On February 20, 2020, Its Steam Port also released, with 38 levels as well. The port had 38 levels, and was controlled using the left C-stick and the Gyroscope. On April 12, 2019, Cheetah Mobile partnered with Rising Win Tech to port Rolling Sky and Rolling Sky 2 to the Nintendo Switch. It's bonus, Anniversary, was released on October 10, 2018. On September 26, 2018, coinciding with the 3 year anniversary since rolling sky started development, a new level was added, Happy Birthday.The level was designed to be a celebration for the game's 3 year anniversary with many cameos. On November 17, 2016, the first bonus level was added: Illusion. As time went on, the game continued getting updates, adding new levels, and more changes. The game was updated in March 2, 2016, adding a new level, City. The game had 5 levels at the initial release: Massif, Sky, Forest/Old, Desert, and Volcano. To coincide with this, a trailer was also released the next day. The game was in development for a few months, until it's release in January 20, 2016. Rolling Sky started development on September 25, 2015.
